LAHORE: Attock police Tuesday captured writer and telecaster Imran Riaz Khan in Attock, as per Geo News.
Police told the news source that a first data report (FIR) has been held up against Imran in Attock.
Dawn.com, citing the writer's insight, revealed that 17 treachery bodies of evidence have been enlisted against Imran across Punjab, while he was likewise recording a hatred of legal dispute against the police.
As indicated by the police, the writer is being moved to the police headquarters.
Punjab Law Minister Malik Ahmad Khan said that Imran has been captured inside the purview of Punjab, and the feeling that he has been captured from Islamabad is off-base.
Following the capture, PTI pioneers — including Chairman Imran Khan, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar, Shahbaz Gill, and others — brought voices up on the side of the writer and denounced the demonstration.

In his tweet, PTI pioneer and ex-unique partner to the head of the state Gill said that Imran has been captured for "remaining with reality".
Denouncing the capture, previous arranging clergyman and PTI Secretary General Asad Umar expressed "articulation of conclusions are met with counterarguments and not through captures."
In the mean time, senior PTI pioneer Fawad Chaudhry said that the "extremist government in the nation is utilizing 3rd grade strategies to smother basic voices against it."
Sharing a video of the broadcaster subsequent to being captured, PTI's focal secretary of data Farrukh Habib expressed "distinction of assessment can't be stifled forcibly."
